The Lowry announces Christmas show for 2024

THIS year’s presents remain unwrapped and the turkeys are still uncooked.

Yet this hasn’t stopped The Lowry announcing its Christmas show for next year when Hope Mill Theatre will bring a musical version of A Christmas Carol to the stage.

The company’s co-founder, Joseph Houston said:

“While A Christmas Carol is a story we’re all familiar with, especially at this time of year, I was instantly drawn anew thanks to the legendary Alan Menken’s stunning music and Liz Ahern’s lyrics.

“It has everything you’d expect from soaring tunes to full Broadway dance numbers.”
