World premiere about iconic event at The Exchange

THE world premiere of Liberation will take place at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester from June 27 to July 26.

With a cast that includes Call The Midwife’s Leonie Elliott, the play remembers the impact of the Pan African Congress in shaping the lives of the people living there.

Elliott played Nurse Lucille Anderson in Call The Midwife, the hugely popular medical drama on the BBC.
