Sparks fly in Private Lives - Royal Exchange continues landmark celebrations

THE Royal Exchange Theatre continues its 50th anniversary celebrations with Noel Coward’s Private Lives from March 27 to May 2.

Coward’s play begins with the honeymoon from hell in which the sparks well and truly fly and the cast includes Geordie actress Jill Halfpenny, pictured, whose last appearance at the RET came when she appeared in the wonderful oh so northern piece, A Taste of Honey.
