Savage remembered at The Lowry in O'Grady play

TICKETS are now on sale for Savage, a new play by Jonathan Harvey which comes to The Lowry from March 23-27.

The piece, from the pen of Harvey, a writer I really rate highly, was inspired by the life of the hugely popular entertainer Paul O’Grady, the man behind the drag queen Lily Savage, which proved a springboard for O’Grady’s career success.

Danny Beard, winner of the fourth series of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, will play the leading role.
